Copy selected controls to clipboard

Paste Controls from Clipboard' command. If you want to duplicate controls within a UX page use the 'Duplicate selected controls' option."/>

Description

Copies highlighted controls to the clipboard. The controls can then be pasted onto a separate UX component using the 'Paste Controls from Clipboard' command. If you want to duplicate controls within a UX page use the 'Duplicate selected controls' option.

Copy Controls to Clipboard

1. In the UX Builder's on the UX Controls page highlight the control you want to copy. Click the Menu dropdown in the toolbar and select the Copy selected controls to clipboard option.

   

2. Now that the controls have been copied you can use the 'Paste Controls from Clipboard' option to add them to another component. Choose to paste the controls on the clipboard Before selected control(s) or After selected control(s).

   

3. You can optionally use the Special... menu option to manually paste the controls into the UX Component. Choose where the controls should be added using the radio buttons above the text editor. Add the controls using the Paste from Clipboard button to paste the control code into the editor.
